Bucharest, October 11th, 2017: The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR), together with Oracle Romania and ETA2U, launched on Wednesday, October 11th, at the Romexpo Exhibition Center, within the workshop: “Modern customer experience for retail and consumer goods”, a platform for companies to consolidate their business relationships.

Mr. Cristian Ilie, Advisor to the Ministry of Business, Commerce and Entrepreneurship, said the Start-Up Nation is an ambitious program that aims to set up 10 thousand new firms, for 3 years, with support of 45 thousand Euros. “I would like to recall the internationalization program that involves support for companies that want to present and promote their products or services to other markets outside the country. (…) We want a complex entrepreneurial system that includes finance and education, as well as the association and support for business”, the ministry official added.

The President of Ilfov Chamber of Commerce and Industry and member of the CCIR College of Management, Mr. Dumitru Dan sent a support message from the Cameral System to the business environment: “The retail consumer goods industry is a sector with significant increases, Romanian consumers generating a significant part of Romania’s economic consolidation, the economy with the fastest rhythm of growth in the EU. Retail is a dynamic sector and the economic growth in this area has strengthened in 2016, returning to the solid 13.3%, the level reached in the pre-crisis period, which shows that the Romanian market has a high potential for growth.”

Mr. Victor Tătaru, Oracle CX Territory Manager, said: “Today, together with our partners, we have decided to address two interconnected, retail and consumer goods industries that we are convinced can be helped by new technologies to do step towards the digital area and align with the global market trends. Providing a personalized experience on any channel and at the right time is now available to any player on this market, and we are here with our partners to provide the necessary infrastructure and support in the process.”
