The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR) is a factor of moderation between the political decision-makers and the private environment, being fully committed to drafting and contributing to public policies designed to support entrepreneurship and the business environment, meant to stimulate companies’ development and the competitiveness and to boost the level of investment.

Cooperation with authorities of public administration, development of projects with external partners, economic diplomacy and an unitary voice within the system – seen as means to prioritise and converge the interests of Chambers of Commerce with the ones of the national business community, are aspects that contribute to the economic enhancement of the Romanian state.

CCIR consults and supports the inclusion of opinions from the business environment in debates on public agenda and promotes opinions, necessities and goals of the business community in drafting and enforcing public policies. We are involved in designing the recommendations of the business community not only nationally, but also at European and international levels, the Romanian Chamber System being part of the World Chambers Network, which brings together more than 12,000 chamber bodies worldwide.
