Mr. Mihai Daraban mentioned the role of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania in the preparation of economic missions, as well as the special relationship in this field with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry for the Business, Trade and Entrepreneurship Environment.

“CCIR remained consistent with the role of binder between the business environment and the political decision maker, with a strong emphasis on the internationalization of Romanian business. Moreover, the effort to internationalize the Romanian business should be on the agenda of each institution, of each company, as is the GDP growth. I am pleased to announce that we have entered the last hundred meters in the organization, in Bucharest, of the Business Forum, an integral part of the Summit of the Three Seas Initiative, organized in collaboration with Presidential Administration” said Mr. Mihai Daraban.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Teodor Meleșcanu said: “A positive, internal consensus theme, recently inscribed on the transatlantic agenda, mainly as a result of Romania’s efforts, is the Initiative of the Three Seas. Romania will soon host the Summit and the first Business Forum of the Initiative in a bid to foster and harness the potential for growth and development of Central and Eastern Europe through more interconnectivity. With new infrastructures, new energy streams and free digital streams. These are the objectives of the Initiative, which we want to implement with the participating countries, European partners and US partners. For Romania, this initiative is an additional transatlantic bridge.”

The special guest of this year’s RADR edition is Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, Heiko Maas. The presence of the German high official confirms the very good stage of the bilateral relationship as well as the special level of the privileged dialogue between Romania and Germany.

The meeting was attended by the heads of the diplomatic and consular missions of Romania, representatives of the Foreign Diplomatic Corps accredited in Bucharest, representatives of the Presidential Administration, members of the Government and Parliament, as well as officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
