Paris, February 13th, 2020: The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR), Mr. Mihai Daraban attends today, February 13th, the second day of the working sessions of the World Federation of Chambers of Commerce, meeting that is taking place in Paris.

The second day of the working sessions is dedicated to presenting the candidates for the organization of the Chamber Congress in 2023. In the race for organizing the 13th edition of the Chamber Congress, three cities applied to be the host of the event: Geneva, Stavanger, and Moscow.

Voting will not be done during the working sessions of the general meeting, but subsequently by electronic vote. The voting procedure for the designation of the host city is quite complex and will end on March 6th, 2020. The winning city will be designated on March 17th.

Next edition of World Chamber Congress, Generation next: Chamber 4.0. will be held on February 23rd-25th, 2021, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

“Generation Next: Chamber 4.0” is a platform designed to support young entrepreneurs to develop and get informed through a series of exclusive monthly events, alternating between networking events and personal development sessions.

Intentions have already been received to host the 14th World Chamber Congress in 2025 from India, Malaysia, Singapore, and South Korea.
