The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania comes in support of the Romanian companies involved in trade exchanges with Great Britain, having the pleasure to inform you about the opportunity to participate in the virtual seminar dedicated to “EU-UK trade and Industry Day”, organized by the UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) in partnership with the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Romania, on 16 November 2020, from 1200 to 1400 (RO time).

This event is part of the British government’s initiative program, aiming to present to the business partners the steps they need to take at the borders of Great Britain for the end of its Transition Period and the official withdrawal from the Customs Union and the Single Market of the European Union, beginning with 1 January 2021.

The event will approach topics such as taxes, border and customs procedures, VAT and excises, sanitary and phytosanitary requirements, controlled goods, and UK traffic management.

The event will be held in English.
