The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania in partnership with the embassies of Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam, will organize an economic seminar on doing business in Southeast Asia, that will take place on June 14, 2017, at 10:00, at CCIR Business Center.
The event aims to present the specifics of business in Southeast Asia, especially in Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam as well as to provide factual and relevant information for Romanian companies and business organizations interested in accessing these markets. There will also be presented and explained the potential challenges that Romanian companies might face in the region, such as customs and commercial regulations or cultural differences.
Moreover, the event will focus on the main economic sectors, with commercial potential in relation to Romania. Among these are: the pharmaceutical industry, wood and furniture, metallurgical industry, electrical equipment, IT, food industry, chemical industry, transport, plastics and tourism.
The economic seminar will be presented by specialists from the trade offices of Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam: EU-Indonesia Business Network (EIBN), Malaysia Foreign Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Romania – Commercial Office, Vietnamese Businessmen Association of Romania.
During the event, the participants are free to ask questions and at the end they will be able to attend private consultation sessions with the trade representatives.
The working language of the event will be English.
