The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR) has the pleasure to invite you to the event entitled Opportunities brought by the EU free trade agreements and challenges encountered by business people. How can we capitalize on the EU trade policy?. which will take place on September 17, 2019 in Bucharest, at CCIR Business Center, A.I. Cuza Amphitheatre hall.

The conference is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania with the support of the European Commission in partnership with the Ministry of Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship and the Embassy of Canada to Romania, Bulgaria, and the Republic of Moldova.

The aim of the event is to enhance understanding about the European Union trade policy, emphasizing the importance of the latest free trade agreements concluded by the EU with third countries, as well as the benefits/challenges for business people.

The last part of the event will be dedicated to Romanian entrepreneurs which benefited from free trade agreements with Canada and Japan, or who have already done business in Vietnam and Mercosur countries. The ultimate goal is to share their business experiences and, eventually, draw some conclusions, present some lessons learned that could help or motivate other Romanian entrepreneurs willing to internationalize their business beyond the EU.

The target groups of this event are exporting and importing companies from Romania in above-mentioned countries with which the European Union signed trade agreements. Therefore, at this event will have priority the companies that are doing business in one of these countries or which have intention to expand on these markets. Also, at the conference are expected to participate representatives of entrepreneurs’ associations interested in these markets, as well as representatives of civil society concerned about the impact and benefits of trade agreements.

Participation in the event is free of charge, but access will be limited to 80 seats and the confirmation e-mail you will receive after the online registration, which is mandatory.
