The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR) will organize an Economic Mission in the State of Kuwait between November 25-27, 2018. The Mission will include a multisectoral Business Forum hosted by Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, dedicated to identifying new business opportunities and developing economic and commercial relations between the two states.
The economic mission is also organized in the context of New Kuwait 2035, a national strategy consisting of 164 projects in various fields, with a total value of approximately USD 150 billion.
The objective of this economic mission is to facilitate the access of the Romanian companies on this important market and ultimately to increase the exchange of goods and services between the two states. According to the structure of Kuwait imports, the main groups of products and services that can be provided by the Romanian companies are the following: iron and steel products, live animals (after lifting the restrictions) and foodstuffs, agriculture products, furniture, equipment and services for the oil and gas industry, equipment and services for the energy industry, clothing, medicines and cosmetics, cars and means of transport, special products, contract management services and qualified human resources, IT services.
