The Committee for Economic Diplomacy consists of 2 Subcommittees:

• Subcommittee for European and International Organizations
• Subcommittee for bilateral relations

Mission
The Committee seek to recalibrate the economic diplomacy, by initiating projects and creating new opportunities aiming to strengthen Romania’s foreign trade.

Objectives:

• professionalizing and recalibrating economic diplomacy;
• supporting the development of Romania’s foreign trade to non-EU markets, with a view to opening new markets and regaining the traditional ones, especially overseas;
• initiating projects to promote trade and, in particular, to stimulate exports, through cooperation with public authorities in the process of training Romania’s economic advisers abroad;
• creating dedicated financing programs, accessible to as many entrepreneurs as possible, in order to facilitate the participation of Romanian companies on foreign markets;
• encouraging the participation of Romanian companies in economic missions, international fairs and exhibitions, in order to better promote domestic capital and stimulate commercial exchanges.
