The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania is organizing during October-November this year, a series of informative events, in digital format, about the implications of the Association Agreements (AA) and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Areas (DCFTA) between the EU-Republic of Moldova, EU-Ukraine and EU-Georgia for the business environment.
Free Trade Agreements aim at phasing out customs duties on imports and exports in trade in goods, removing barriers to trade in services and better access for companies to those markets. The aim of the series of webinars is to improve the understanding of the implications of these agreements in order to inform business people and, in particular, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) about the opportunities offered in accessing the three markets.
The first event in this series, organized in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, has the following topic: Opportunities offered by the Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between the EU and the Republic of Moldova for the business community and will take place on October 27, 2020, between 10.00-12.00 AM. The discussions will be held in Romanian.
The second event, organized in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, will take place on November 3, 2020, between 10.00-11.40 AM and will address the following topic: Opportunities offered by the Association Agreement and the Deep Free Trade Area and Comprehensive EU-Ukraine for the business community. Discussions will be conducted in English.
The last webinar from this series, organized in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Georgia and the Embassy of Georgia to Romania, will address the topic on Opportunities offered by the Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between the EU-Georgia for the business community. It will take place on November 17, 2020, between 10.00-11.30 EE Time. The discussions will be held in English.
