Bucharest, April 27th: The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, Mr. Mihai Daraban, participated in the working meeting together with the business environment representatives that took place today, April 27th, at the headquarters of the Romanian Government.

The themes of the work agenda focused on how to develop the local business environment.

In the opening speech, Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu said: “You are the biggest employers and pay the highest profit tax in our country. We need, as I said, public policies to stimulate Romanian capital and ensure a transparent, stable framework, and I want to be as predictable as possible, where your companies develop and bring added value to the state and ff course, for the Romanian employees that work for you (…) and in my view, the zero priority at this moment is to start the investments and here I want to put a special emphasis on the development of the infrastructure”.

The mission of the CCIR President, Mr. Mihai Daraban, as a representative of the business environment, was to expose as clearly as possible the obstacles that Romanian businessmen encounter in carrying out their activities and, at the same time, the ways to overcome these obstacles.
