Târgu Mureş, June 25^th, 2019:  Mureș Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with the National Authority for Dual-Initial Professional Training in Romania, hosted the Conference occasioned by the signing of a Collaboration Protocol between the two institutions and the opening of the Regional Office.

After signing the Cooperation Protocol with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, this agreement is the third of the series of partnerships in the field of professional training and certification that the Authority will have with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, in view of the opening of the 8 regional offices, to know the real need of Romanian companies in terms of workforce.

During the event, Mr. Ion Gabriel Bratu, President of the National Authority, said: “The signing of this protocol is part of the strategy of the National Authority to open 8 Regional Offices in partnership with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The primary objective is to get closer to the business environment, as dual education is only organized at the request of economic agents. I am glad that Mr. Vasile Pop insisted on opening this office in Mureş County because there is a real interest here. Immediate goals are getting closer to business people, promoting the development strategy, identifying human resources, and promoting opportunities for business. For both students and parents, the assurance that learning a job and having a well-paid job at the age of majority is an extra chance. However, there are still many things to be improved, for example, 800 hours of practice are currently being practiced, and 2300 hours of practice in the business should in the future”.

Mr. Vasile Pop, President of Mureș Chamber of Commerce and Industry, pointed out that “We have insisted that such an office be opened in our county because we have noticed the lack of qualified personnel and I believe that in our county we have economic agents able to support this system. I am a man of action and I want to see concrete results in the near future”.

The event benefited from the presence of some of the most important representatives of the business environment in Mures, Johann Hermann – Vice President of Mureş CCI and General Manager Durkopp Adler SRL, members of the Board of Directors of Mureş CCI, important members of the Chamber of Commerce, representatives of Dual Technical Education within the Mureş County School Inspectorate: Ms. Laura Pop – Inspector of Technical Education, Mrs. Ciulea Adela Cristina – Director “Ion Vlasiu” Technological High School, Cozma Matei Ionuţ – Director of the “Transilvania” Economic High School.
