CCIA Arad is involved in promoting cyber security for the business environment

Arad, October 31, 2022: The Arad Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (CCIA Arad), in collaboration with the Cyber Level Ins company, organized on Monday, October 31, the workshop “Protect your company from a cyber-attack and ensure the value”, having as its central theme the importance of cyber security for the business environment.
“At the level of the chamber system, there is a constant concern regarding the protection of economic agents from cyber-attacks. The purpose of this event was to inform businesspeople, to help them properly analyse the potential risks and to be prepared to respond to possible cyber-attacks”, said the president of CCIA Arad, Gheorghe Seculici.
“Recently, Cyber Level Ins. concluded a cyber security partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, which we consider a true partnership between the United States of America and the National Chamber. Today’s event, the first in a longer series of such seminars, is the result of this partnership. We found a constant concern of the CCIR, as well as the entire chamber system, in terms of protecting the business environment from cyber-attacks. It should not be forgotten that, according to statistical data, between 2020 and 2021, in Europe, the number of cyber-attacks increased by 37.7%. This trend is also confirmed on the Romanian market, where specialists say that there were 31% more cyber-attacks in 2021 compared to 2020, with the main targets being the retail and transport industries”, said Dan Shomon, significant Cyber Level shareholder Ins.
