Timișoara, November 1, 2022: The Timiș Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (CCIA Timiș), in collaboration with the Cyber Level Ins company, organized the workshop “Protect your company from a cyber attack and ensure its value”, having as central theme the importance of cyber security for the business environment.

“Statistical data indicate that Romania is the second most attacked country in the world, from a cyber point of view, after the United States of America. Cyber Level Ins solutions are of several types. We will work with the member companies of CCIA Timiș to determine the areas of cyber vulnerability, where they will be discovered, to find the best solutions so that these companies are fully protected in the face of cyber attacks. It’s a whole series of threats like email attacks, phishing attacks, or sending links that if you clicked, the entire cyber infrastructure can be compromised,” said Dan Shomon, significant shareholder of Cyber Level Ins.

“It is obvious that in the last 30 years we are witnessing an unprecedented technological revolution. We are increasingly connected to what the performance of computing and the Internet means. And all of us, day by day, carry out our activities with the help of the Internet, relying a lot or even exclusively on the Internet. Databases, communication, everything goes to this field. And it is an early stage, with obvious vulnerabilities. And the problems are not the vulnerabilities that have solutions, but our interest and the awareness by the mass and public institutions of the importance of ensuring a degree of cyber security because otherwise we risk losing our data, losing money, invariably, more private companies, but also us, the public institutions, and it’s a key area that hasn’t been talked about very much”, declared the Prefect of Timiș County, Mr. Mihai Ritivoiu.
