Bucharest, September 18, 2024: The Secretary General of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIR), Mr. Ovidiu Silaghi and the director of the CCIR external relations department, Mr. Eduard Costin, had an official meeting with the Charge d’Affaires of the Montenegrin Embassy in Bucharest, Mr. Dalibor Durović, in order to boost commercial exchanges between the two states.

“Looking at the figures of the total annual value of trade between Romania and Montenegro, it is very clear that the two states must identify new major economic projects of common interest. At the moment, following the discussion with the representative of the Montenegrin Embassy in Bucharest, we have identified three main directions in which we can act effectively, namely: the training of the most important Romanian tourism companies in boosting specific activities in Montenegro simultaneously with the establishment of a flight schedule charter carried out by the national company Tarom, capitalizing on the Romanian experience in the modernization of the Montenegrin energy system and collaboration in the field of civil and infrastructure constructions. It is very important, for both organizations, that this dialogue continues in the future in order to be able to take concrete steps in starting concrete actions between the Romanian and Montenegrin business environments”, said the general secretary of the CCIR, Mr. Ovidiu Silaghi.
