Trade Finance Operations

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR) is organizing, between 27-28 September 2023, a comprehensive course on trade financing operations, with an emphasis on Incoterms 2020 rules, documentary credits and guarantees, the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), as well as Unifom Custom Practice (UCP) 600 and Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees (URDG) 758. The event will take place at the CCIR Business Center, 2nd Octavian Goga Blvd, Bucharest, 3rd District, and will be held in English.

 

 

The course is addressed to the following professional categories:

– exporters, importers, traders, business managers, foreign trade and logistics specialists;

– bankers working in trade finance, particularly in documentary credits, collections, bank guarantees and export/import financing departments;

– front office bank specialists, relationship managers serving exporters, importers and traders;

– specialists in trade finance;

– bank risk managers, internal auditors;

– lawyers, compliance specialists;

 

 

 

Lecturer: Pavel Andrle

Mister. Pavel Andrle is an adviser, consultant and trainer for international trade financing, founder and owner of Trade Finance Consulting and former commercial banker. Also, Mr. Pavel Andrle is secretary of the Banking Commission and of the Commission for Commercial Law and Practice of the ICC – Czech Republic. Last but not least, Mr. Pavel Andrle is the author of the best-selling practical publications on “Examination of documents under documentary credits” and “Documentary credits in practice”. The publications explain very complex rules and practices related to the examination of documents presented in documentary credits and other documentary credit operations in a practical way.
